February 1986: Application to create a fisheries conservation area for the Lyckebyån River, from the mouth to the power plant in Biskopsberg.
April 27 1987: The land surveyor writes the following statement in the official record (ref. K2 135863)
The fisheries management area is proposed to include fishing in Lyckebyån from the mouth of the river to the power plant in Biskopsberg. The fisheries to be included and the owners of these are reported in the fishing rights list, file B, the list of interested parties, file D and the supplementary fishing rights list, file H. The purpose of the fisheries management area is to promote recreational fishing - which, among other things, means that the fishing is intended to be largely open to the public and to safeguard the interests of the fishing rights holders, conduct fisheries management and promote fishing. There is a clear majority among the fishing rights holders in favor of forming the proposed fisheries management area.
January 26 1988: The County Administrative Board decides on the Formation of a fisheries conservation area (11.379-1162-86)
